With the caveat that no video game city is ever a one-to-one recreation of its real world counterpart because of design and memory limitations, I've come up with the best cities to visit digitally while being stuck at home. I'm mostly sticking to open-world games so you can really walk around and explore the city the game is set in without doing too much actual game stuff (like, you can ignore the narrative and just walk/run/drive around).

Video Game Round-Up! - November/December 2020
Welcome to this month's Video Game Round-Up!
I'm a few days late again, but this time it's due to work and not my own forgetful brain (though I will admit I didn't start writing this until two days ago :P ).
Another 19 games this month, though that is a bit of a cheat since seven of them were in one bundle. Still, they count :D I finished three games this month, two on stream, one of which I did in one sitting :D I also started 13 other games without finishing them, or any other games I have previously started, so I think have like 85 million unfinished games now... But at least I started them!
In the saddest news, I still don't have a PS5 :(
But enough about that, let's get to the games!

Video Game Round-Up! - October/November 2020
Welcome to this month's Video Game Round-Up!
I'm a few days late, but it's no one's fault but my own: I simply forgot. I had written about half of it a week ago, and then I started writing fiction again, and I just forgot about this. Whoops.
I played 19 different games this past month, again thanks to streaming on a fairly regular basis. I want to finish my games, but I am also enjoying starting a bunch of new ones just to see what they're like, so Wednesday nights have become something I look forward to every week as that's my Adan Plays Through His Backlog night. I know I'm going to play at least one new game during the week, and it's going to be Wednesday night :)
In sadder news, I still don't have a PS5 :(
But enough about that, let's get to the games!

Video Game Round-Up! - September/October 2020
Welcome to this month's Video Game Round-Up! I’m a week late because of, well, because of where you're reading this now. I'll talk about bit more about this in the conclusion.
It's another big month thanks to my ever more popular YouTube show Adan Plays Through His Backlog (well, ever more popular with me). There were three episodes in which I played three or more games, and that always helps my numbers. I played a total of 17 games, but I only finished one of them. To be fair, though, a lot of this month's games aren't really the kind you can "finish".
But enough about that, let's get to the games!

Video Game Round-Up! - August/September 2020
Welcome to another Video Game Round-Up! I’m three days late, but that’s only because I played a ton of games this month! So many! I even finished playing 9 games and got three new platinums! Yay, me!
There was a lot of various video game news from Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony, and Sony finally revealed the price and release date of the PS5, but the pre-order situation was terrible and I don’t have one yet. Boo. But I’m sure there’ll be a lot more chances to get it, and if I don’t get it on release day, I will get it soon afterwards (though I really hope I can get it on release day).
But enough about that, let’s get to the ridiculous amount of games!

Video Game Round-Up! - July/August 2020
Welcome to another Video Game Round-Up! I played a bunch of video games this month, almost all of which I’ve never written about before! A whole bunch of new games! Five of the new games are on this list because of a weekly “show” I’ve started on my YouTube channel, called Adan Plays Through His Backlog (every Wednesday!). I technically only started it this month with Action Henk (PS4) and Aegis Defenders (PS4), but I grandfathered in last month’s Yakuza Kiwami (PS4) stream in as Episode 0. Basically, this show is a way for me to play a bunch of games I own, but have never touched before (some of which I’ve owned for years, and am embarrassed I’ve yet to play). Some of these games I will continue playing on my own time to complete, others I’ll never touch again, and others still I will return to at some point in the future, but not any time soon (like Yakuza Kiwami :P ). With the exception of the grandfathered Yakuza Kiwami, I’m playing these games in alphabetical order.
The other two new games this month are games I’m playing live on stream: Ghost of Tsushima (PS4) and Paper Mario: The Origami King (Switch) (12 episodes in on both). Basically, I’m streaming a lot, and you should subscribe and watch and give all the videos a like (that’s what the kids are saying, right?).
But enough about that, let’s get to the games!

Video Game Round-Up! - June/July 2020
Welcome to another Video Game Round-Up! Look at me not being (very) late! It’s like I planned everything ahead of time this time!
So, did you watch the thing we did with the National Art Gallery? It was... okay? We’re not super great in front of a camera for scripted things, even less so when we have to film ourselves, so we were very clearly nervous and constantly checking the script as we spoke. Also, they ended up cutting a lot out of the final video for some reason. The final video ended up being 18 minutes long, but we were told we had a half hour. Maybe the rest of it was just really terrible :P
I’ve also been streaming almost daily (more on that below), and that’s been pretty fun. Sometimes only the girl watches (because she is a great partner who supports all my nonsense), but sometimes I’ve got a pretty good audience, even if most of them don’t like to chat :P
I have stopped watching movies like a madman, mostly because the listing of films I was doing with my friends is basically done (we finished with 1920, but then Hal started up again with 2008 going forward, but I’ve seen a lot more movies in recent years and feel no need to “catch up” now), so now I’m trying to catch up on my YouTube watching. I’m about two months/700 videos behind. I will eventually catch up :P
But enough about that, let’s get to the games!
